Lea RC hosts two regattas every year which are open to all comers. The course, at 600m is an ideal introduction to side by side racing for juniors. It is also a good distance for veteran and senior crews looking for some sprint practice one on one. As is customary on the Lea, water conditions are flat, with only a hint of stream. We offer racing for all comers, whatever their boat class or experience. There is a cyclists towpath running the full length of the course for supporters and/or coaches to watch their crews.

Both regattas are atmospheric and friendly events as the club bar and café are opened to all comers. Lea RC members also help out by manning a myriad of stalls selling food, drinks and importantly – cake!

  1. Lea Spring – held on the last Sunday in April.
  2. Lea Autumn – held on the first Sunday in September.

For more specific information year-on-year please see the regatta posters, which are available on the Spring or Autumn regatta pages

Regatta results will be posted to the website as soon as possible after the event.
