Regatta documents
Please see below the regatta map, safety instructions and other documentation for the Lea Spring Regatta. Please also ensure that all your crews read and understand them; it is their responsibility to do so.

The draw (currently version 6) and other documentation will also be posted on our website and any changes to the draw will be posted there and also emailed to you.

If there are any clashes or problems with the draw, please let Sally know as soon as possible, ideally by email, and she’ll do her best to sort them out before Sunday.

We have a very full regatta. Please help us keep the regatta running on time by being ready to boat as soon as the previous division has gone up to the start and adjusting on the water; adjusting on the landing stage will not be allowed. If you can have your gates open, and an extra person (or two) to help with blades and shoes when boating this will really help. Our first division is at 9 am.

Payment for entries
Now that entries have been accepted, please pay online on BROE or by bank transfer. Payment will not be taken at registration. Entries MUST be paid for before the day either via BROE or to our bank account. Please do not bring cash on the day.

Our bank details are:
50 00 00
Lea Rowing Club LImited

Please put your club name on the transfer and email Sally to say it’s been sent.

Please send one person only from your club to collect numbers and make any last minute crew changes. There will be one envelope of numbers per club.

BROE2 will be open for “substitutions and payments” until Thursday evening and will be closed from Friday morning. It would be most helpful if you can make any changes before then rather than at registration on Sunday. If you need to make a late change (Friday to Sunday), please email Sally with the details.

British Rowing cards
Competitors need to bring these with them (Rules of Racing 7-2-3) Winners who cannot confirm their identity shall not receive any crew or individual prize until their identity has been confirmed (Rule 5-5-4b).

Other details

There are bridge works upstream of the start so the warm up area is shorter than usual.

Please let your trailer drivers know that they will be entering the field via a gate half way down Spring Hill, just past the turning for Lingwood Road, i.e. at the top of the field. The turning is tight and you should bring with you people to help your trailer negotiate the turning. The gate will be open at 7am.

Parking is only available for trailers. Please do not park near the trees adjacent to the car park at the bottom of the field, and do NOT drive over the rugby pitch. Trailers must be only parked under the trees next to the road (not next to the car park). Car parking is not available in the field for this regatta. Please park in the nearby streets and allow time to walk to the club

We are assessing the state of the field on Friday. If there are changes to the parking arrangements they will be posted on our website.

British Rowing Insurance – Important Notice
The British Rowing membership insurance is only valid for UK residents who are resident in this country for more than six months in a year. This must be stated in the notice provided to competitors as British Rowing is unable to determine whether or not a person is resident when they apply for membership with a UK address.

The links to all of the other regatta documents are below (please note: documents will open within a new tab). Please make sure your crews are familiar with regatta information!
